This watch is fitted with a very popular movement, the 6119C. Here’s a picture of it with dial and calendar work removed, note the difference between the Diafix and Diashock installations…
The minute ring was in poor shape and I had little choice but to try and polish it up. A lot of effort to get a consistent finish, but well worth it.
This was my first Sealion model with a split day and date dial, the first of many as it turned out.
